first experiments video projection
This is the first experiment i've done with a video projection piece i'm working on. It doesn't look like much, but i'm excited.

Socially Structured Movement Dec 6th -24th Iain Dawson Gallery
Socially Structured Movement is my upcoming exhibition at Sydney's Iain Dawson Gallery. Opening Dec 8th.
The new work includes prints on stainless steel, works on paper, multi layered glass pieces and ceramic pieces.

Collaboration with Hayden Youlley Designs
Sydney based designer Hayden Youlley and I have been working on a collaborative set of bowls and vases based on his award winning 'Paper Series'. Youlley supplied the design and I supplied the graphics.
The bowls are all made of southern ice porcelain and have hi-temp fired decals, so they are completely dishwasher safe.
All items were produced in extremely limited editions, so these are truly unique items. Not a set of Ikea housewares.The series includes:
Small bowls with floral circles - edition of 4
Small bowls with floral bottom - edition of 4
Small bowls with floral stripes - edition of 4
Large bowl with floral circles - one off
Large bowl with floral stripes - one off
Large bowl with floral flowers - one off
Vase with b/w floral circles - edition of 2

Mind & Reality - a print exchange

The 'Mind & Reality' project (curated by myself and Kathryn Drury) is a print portfolio created through collaboration between artists in Sydney (associated with the College of Fine Arts) and artists from Chicago (associated with the School of Art Institute of Chicago).
Each artist contributed one print dealing with the theme of 'Mind & Reality'. Represented are traditional media such as etching, wood-cut and silkscreen alongside more modern media such as digital print and print-based installation.
The resulting portfolio has been exhibited at Chicago's Roxaboxen gallery on Fri Nov 18th. It will be shown in Sydney at CofaSpace gallery between the 21st and 25th of Feb 2012. Opening night drinks with the artists will be on Wed te
